Our wonderful partner in Tijuana, Pastor Juvenal Gonzalez and his wife Maria are helping a group of young Russian Christians, while they work through their immigration process.

According to Juvenal, the young man became a Christian at age 10 when Ukrainian missionaries came to share the Gospel with him. He was then baptized by a Ukrainian pastor. When he turned 18, he had to do military service and is now in the reserves. He chose to leave Russia after being deployed to fight in the war on Ukraine. He said, "I cannot go to the missionaries and pastors who baptized me with a rifle and force them to surrender to Russia." 

Juvenal emphasized that without the assistance from Fellowship Southwest, they would not be able to help migrants like this group of young people.
