Baptists and Methodists will discuss their faith—their shared commitments, their common passions, as well as issues they see differently—at seven events across the state sponsored by CBF Texas.
The endeavor will mirror conferences sponsored by the Baptists and Methodist on a global scale, noted Rick McClatchy, coordinator of CBF Texas and organizer of the project.
The sessions are intended to involve laity and clergy alike, McClatchy said, noting the purpose is to strengthen Methodist-Baptist bonds on the local level.
