Through COVID-19, CBF West continues to bless Navajo Nation

COVID-19 continues to pour out its wrath across the Navajo Nation in northeastern Arizona, but CBF West continues to counter with tangible expressions of love and mercy.

Spearheaded by Pastor Greg Long of Flagstaff and CBF West Coordinator Glen Foster of Tucson, CBF congregations have provided boxes of food and supplies for Navajo Nation families hit hard by the pandemic. The region remains a COVID hotspot, with disproportionately high infection rates, Foster reported.

Last week, Long and Foster delivered relief boxes to families who live across the high desert plateau. This was the second distribution effort sponsored by CBF West and supported by congregations throughout CBF. Foster and Long have vowed to continue the ministry as long as COVID continues to plague Navajo Nation.

To contribute to this ongoing ministry, send a check to CBF West, designated for “Selah Ministries Care Packages”; address: CBF West, c/o Glen Foster, 60474 E. Eagle Ridge Dr., Tucson, AZ 85739.
