Meet our new Media Manager!

Fellowship Southwest is proud to welcome Zion Williams to the staff. Zion will be FSW’s Media Manager, a new position for the organization. Zion will be responsible for many communications tasks, like creating and sending email newsletters, social media, videos and graphics. She will be the main point of contact for news media as well, and help us get our messages out to new audiences.

Zion is a recent graduate from Texas Southern University with a major in Radio/TV/Film and a minor in Administration of Justice. She currently lives in Houston, where she did her internship this year at FSW’s partner church, The Church Without Walls. Zion first encountered Fellowship Southwest at a border trip she attended with her church in March. She was impacted by the experience of working with migrants and alongside our partners on the border doing ministry with migrants. This summer, Zion will be moving to Los Angeles and will amplify the message of Fellowship Southwest from there.

Zion will be working most closely with Cameron Vickrey, the Director of Communications and Development. After working with her for less than a week, Cameron says, “Zion is extremely creative and organized, a valuable combination of qualities that will stretch us and push us in the areas we need it most. She asks good questions, and she makes sure that everything we do is intentional. I can’t wait to see how she leads us into the future.”
