Bio.
Cameron has been a part of Fellowship Southwest since its beginning in 2017. Before joining Fellowship Southwest full time in 2022, she provided communications support to other nonprofits like Faith Commons and Pastors for Texas Children. She is passionate about public education, and co-founded an organization called RootEd, galvanizing parents of public schools to tell their stories and become advocates.
Cameron was born and raised in Dallas, but before moving back to Texas as an adult, she attended Furman University in South Carolina where she majored in art history. She received a master of divinity degree from Wake Forest University School of Divinity in North Carolina. She and Garrett, pastor of Woodland Church, have lived in San Antonio, Texas, with their three daughters since 2012.
Her free time is spent in the car shuttling her kids to their many activities, visiting the middle daughter’s horse at the barn, and going to high school football games to cheer on the cheerleaders. She loves teaching middle school Sunday school, baking pies, and reading as many books as she possibly can.

An architect! I was an art history major, and I love math.

My oldest daughter is a high school cheerleader, the middle plays school sports and rides her horse in her spare time, and the youngest loves gymnastics and singing. Someone is usually on the trampoline in the backyard. Oh, and they love TV.

Reading a book with a glass of wine. On a screened in porch. In the mountains. No other people needed.
