I’d like to be clear: Without FSW, it would be impossible to do this ministry.

Carlos Navarro

Brownsville

CARLOS NAVARRO could manage logistics for a Fortune 500 company. Instead, he makes sure immigrants know Jesus loves them as they cross into the United States. Carlos is pastor of Iglesia Bautista West Brownsville. They created a respite ministry to welcome and serve refugees seeking U.S. asylum. The immigrants enter the United States with dates for their final asylum hearings and bus tickets to stay with their sponsors. Before immigrants board their buses, Pastor Carlos and IBWB make sure they receive hot food, fresh clothes and giant goodie bags for the journey. They also share the Good News of Jesus’ love. They have served more than 16,000 hurting people. Please pray for Carlos and his wife, Diane.

Migrants need all the basic things when they come here, but they also need a hug, a smile, and maybe even a joke.
