Cintia’s passions and ministry are focused on the intersection of faith and practice, uniting both her Social Work and Ministry degrees. She strives to inspire, empower and strengthen others through her work and personal life.

Cintia joined the FSW team in October of 2024 as the Immigration Ministry Manager, but her relationship with FSW began back in 2021 when she was a student at the Diana Garland School of Social Work and an intern at the Center for Church and Community Impact. Upon her graduation with a Dual Master’s Degree in Divinity and Social Work Cintia joined FSW on contract to facilitate a Social Work 101 training among different churches at the border. She taught the course 7 times to over 100 pastors in Brownsville, Harlingen, McAllen, Laredo, El Paso, Tuscan and Phoenix.
Cintia comes from serving as the Associate Pastor at Primera Iglesia Bautista de Waco where she was ordained as a Baptist Minister.
Cintia currently serves on the Board of Texas Baptist Women in Ministry, supporting and inspiring women as they discern their calling into vocational ministry.
Cintia is originally from Nicaragua, the youngest of three daughters and is a Pastor’s kid. She has served the church alongside her family since very young and says that “ministry is in her blood”. She is married to Maynor Aguilar and they have two beautiful daughters, Mavis and Nina Aguilar. They call Waco, TX home and love to spend time together as a family.

I am an organization freak. Go to my house and find everything is in containers and well organized.
Also, I love planning birthdays and celebrations. I am all about decorating, making sure the place looks pretty and being a great hostess.
