Juvenal González

Tijuana

JUVENAL GONZÁLEZ is a church-starting strategist and pastor of Iglesia Bautista de la Calle—Baptist Church of the Street—in Tijuana, Mexico, just across the border from San Diego. Pastor Juvenal started ministering to immigrants when a huge caravan of people seeking asylum in the United States marched out of Central America and up the western coast of Mexico in 2018. Since then, he has supervised feeding programs in massive government-run shelters, tent camps and church-sponsored shelters across the city, serving more than 10,000 refugees. Six days a week, hundreds of immigrants eat a hot breakfast at the El Chapparal camp in downtown Tijuana, thanks to his efforts. Please pray for Juvenal and his wife, María.
